The tomb of William Mathew Raikes
William Raikes was the nephew of the founder of the Sunday School movement, Robert Raikes. He was probably responsible for starting Walthamstow Sunday School in 1789. In 1820 he was the chairman of the Trustees who purchased Trust Bonds to build the new Lea Bridge.
