DSC_1695 Mule Deer in the backyard

I looked out of a window of one of the bedrooms of our home and noticed these two mule deer lounging in the shade of one of our backyard trees. While I've seen evidence of deer around, in the 40+ years of living in this home, this is the first time I've seen them here. They appeared quite relaxed and "at home". (one of two photos)
