In fact a sparkplug is a very simple thing. There is high voltage between the ends to make a nice spark. The resistance is either zero Ohm, but then you get a lot of scramble noice on your car radio. So that is why they gave a sparkplug a high resistance, just with graphite from your pencil. The longer the graphite, the higher the resistance. For sparkplugs the resistance is between 6,4 and 6,9 kOhm. This one is 6,75, therfore the sparkplug is not faulty.
