Red Stem Wattle

I was fascinated by this wattle, as it seemed to have two types of leaves growing on it. I now know this is normal for the plant, with the pinnate leaves being the younger leaves that sometimes remain on a mature plant. It is known as the Red Stem Wattle (Acacia rubida). [Lower Blue Mountains, NSW]
