Powers: Stygian Ice (Purple Ice that can be summoned from the ground/depths of the Underworld). Can summon ghostly soldiers, Decay Blasts. Able to create Stygian Ice Armor, and Weapons as well. Soul Fire.

Personality: Calm, collected. Very put together, and is confident in his abilities. He isn't outright arrogant. While he's annoyed with his brother Zagreus, he does still care for him, and is envious of the position Zagreus has been given as Prince of the Underworld. If, somehow, anyone manages to beat him in a fight, he will not forget it, and will make sure that never happens again. He doesn't waste time, explaining plans of mass destruction, or whatever else. He doesn't need to explain how powerful he is. He just shows it.

Backstory: Mastix is one of Hades' two sons. The other being the Prince of the Underworld, Zagreus. Hades thrusts this responsibility upon Zagreus, as he is the eldest son, which in turn makes Mastix jealous. Hades dotes on Zagreus, not paying Mastix any mind. It doesn't help things that the left side of Mastix's face looks decayed. Mastix has been working towards becoming the Prince of the Underworld all his life, and to have his laissez faire brother take what is rightfully his is frustrating to his core. Zagreus doesn't care about his duties as the Prince of the Underworld. He just wants to leave the Underworld, and live his life. Like his life is a never ending party. Zagreus doesn't deserve all this attention, Mastix does. Mastix decides the best way to show his worth to his father is by traveling to the mortal realm of humans. Showcasing his true powers, his father would see how deserving he is of being Prince of the Underworld. While in the presence of mortals, he covers up his "decayed" side of his face with a mask. He will do anything to gain his father's approval.
