N.E.M.O (Part One)
Here's the first five members of the villainous N.E.M.O organization
Alias: Broadside
Gender: Male
Alignment: Villain
Backstory: Former mercenary, who is recruited by N.E.M.O after he almost killed Tempest. Unfortunately, he was taken down by Aquaman before he could finish the job. Broadside uses a pair of ballistic launch devices to propel explosive possibly active uranium shell casings which can pierce and rend even the dense skin of an Atlantean or Xebelian hide. His armaments also dispense small but powerful explosive charges with enough destructive force to collapse building structures. This weaponry makes him very valuable to N.E.M.O.
Alias: Clownfish
Real Name: Sydney Allard
Gender: Male
Alignment: Villain
Backstory: Sydney was a doctor/scientist who was found to be killing elderly patients, in the San Diego clinic where he worked. It was later learned that the chemicals/toxins he was exposed to over the years would change him. He grew immune to the effects of any poison, but also became more deranged. He believed the solution to the "joke" that is life, was death. As the Clownfish, he would go on a killing spree, that is until Aquaman stopped him. He had time to plot his revenge in prison, but when N.E.M.O. came to him with an offer to get revenge, how could he say no? His first action was gaining access to a blood sample of Aquaman. Luckily for him, the Aquaman got into many fights against various superfoes, some of which led to blood being spilled. Collecting it, he would try and figure out the most lethal of toxins/poisons to Atlanteans, and relay this information to Black Manta.
Alias: Thanatos
Real Name: Arthur Joseph Curry
Gender: Male
Alignment: Villain
Backstory: An atlantean, whose family was slaughtered by Black Manta when he was younger. Over time, he was brainwashed into thinking he was the one and only Aquaman. Manta even gave him armor that Orin used to wear. Of course he never mentioned how or why he acquired the armor, and trident from. This leads him to go after the real one, claiming that Orin was an imposter. After being defeated by him with ease, 'Thanatos' went into hiding. During this time, there was a war between Atlantis, and Black Manta's forces, which would result in the original Manta's death. The new Black Manta would come to Thanatos, and not having many allies, decided to tell the truth about his father's manipulation of his memories. Of course, this angered Thanatos, but not as much as defeat at the hands of Orin did. This is when he would take up the name Thanatos, as he sees Aquaman's death as his sole purpose. He uses his strong resemblance to the Atlantean King to tarnish his reputation, while helping N.E.M.O with many jobs here and there.
Alias: Human Flying Fish
Real Name: Vic Bragg
Gender: Male
Alignment: Villain
Backstory: Former Olympic swimmer, who was caught using performance enhancers to boost his physical attributes. With everyone losing faith in him, Vic went down a dark path. It was at this time that he would turn to Dr. Krill. He would be surgically altered, making him not only amphibious, but also able to take to the air for a short period of time with the aid of a special costume. He would call himself the Human Flying Fish, stealing to provide for himself. The first time he fought Aquaman, he would actually get away by some miracle. Unfortunately that luck wouldn't last long, as the next encounter would go quite differently. He would be sprung out of prison by Black Jack, along with the rest of N.E.M.O's forces, seeing the potential in his newfound abilities.
Alias: Devil-Ray
Real Name: Murk
Gender: Male
Alignment: Villain
Backstory: An Atlantean, who wasn't a big fan of the current leadership, and how they were running things. This would lead him to act on his own, as the Devil Ray, in various occasions. Manta would come to him with an offer. Help him take down the Aquafamily, and Murk can be the new leader. Murk agrees, and is given a new suit, which was an old prototype of the Black Manta suit. He made adjustments here and there, even changing the color scheme to silver and red. He would let Manta's forces in, which resulted in the massive battle between the two sides. Atlantis would prevail though, which would lead to Murk being imprisoned for his betrayal.
