Backstory: The girl who would eventually become Bitrate, was big into gaming in her younger years. She would get frustrated easily, when her game would lag out on her. She wasn't liked at her school, so gaming was mostly an escape for her. A few years later, she would be kidnapped, and experimented on. She doesn't remember who, as those memories were taken away from her. But she realized the gifts she was given. She was able to increase the efficiency of different technology that she touched. So for a gaming console, it would enhance the fps, and the rate at which things would download, if she was say downloading a game update. No more lag issues for her. With computers, it was enhanced internet speed, or downloading speed. Just overall things that would help her out when she became a well known hacker. She started small, with lesser known companies, but eventually, she would climb the ranks, becoming one of the top hackers in the city. Job offers from various criminal organizations/groups would come in, asking for Bitrate's hacking expertise. This allows her to have a steady income, so that she doesn't have to worry about living out on the streets of the Drag.
