Euphorium

Thomas Woodworth was an average guy. He has a family who loves him very much, and he made his way through school not making any enemies. Though when it came time for graduation, he didn't know what to do with his life. He isn't very confident in himself, so he never pushed towards any of his dreams. Didn't help that his grades weren't the best. When it came to love, he was always stuck in the dreaded friend zone. One day when coming home, exhausted from work, he came upon what looked to be a homeless man begging for cash. Thomas felt bad for the guy and scrounged up $5 out of his wallet to give to the man. This man thanked him, and asked if he could have one wish, what would it be. Thomas replies saying that he just wants to be happy for a change. The man then touches Thomas on the shoulder, and there's a bright purple flash that appears for a second. Thomas backs away, confused of what's happening. But he wasn't scared at all. He was just happy.. From then on, whenever Thomas touches someone on the shoulder like the man did to him, it will give them this extreme euphoria. All fear is extinguished, and the person just feels happy. Thomas decided to use this power to make him some more money. He set up his own website, and anyone that wants to feel better than ever go to him. It's downside is that some people feel like they can then do anything, since they have no fear. People trying to jump off of a building, thinking they can fly, but end up dying from the fall.
