FUTURISTIC MAKEUP

For the Fashion week at UCA we were given a task to make a garment for a futuristic world to live in. Mine was set underground with a lot of glass, and white would be the main colour. I made the crown as this is what the people with hierarchy would wear. I used wire for the shape and sewed together acetate for the visor of the crown, where messages would be transported to each other. I wanted to add beads and chains to give it more of a feminine look. Because you couldn't see very much of the eyes i wanted the focus to be on the skin and lips. I paled the skin as there would be no sunlight and used black for the lips to show empowerment and as a contrast.
