Aster de Chine

Macro Mondays theme : Complementary colors

 

This “Aster de Chine” (China Aster) includes two complementary colors: Purple and Yellow. There are actually several varieties of “Aster de Chine” , mainly obtained through hybridization. The result is a wide array of colors. They are blooming from mid-August to the end of autumn.

 

The flower was already smaller than 3” in diameter but I decided to crop it to show more of the two complementary colors. Hope you will like it!
