When the day turns to gold...
Varzo. Italy.
The lovely plain of Alpe Veglia before sunset. In the backdrop, the rugged peak of Punta Terrarossa, Wasenhorn in German, the deep depression of the pass named Forca d'Aurona, Furggubaumlicke, and the summit of Punta d'Aurona, Furggubaumhorn. That ridge is on the political border between Italy and Walais, Switzerland.
Took this shot while coming back from Forca d'Aurona. This view has been the lovely end of a pleasant day in the great outdoor... but the car was still far from here.
