It's late October, and the first light of the morning already shines above the massif of Monte Grivola, and it is going to reach the village below.
The distant summit on the right is Monte Bianco, the highest mountain of the Alps.
Who has been hiking in this season knows the harsh contrast of light that there is on the mountains. I am really impressed by the Dynamic range that you can get from modern digital cameras.
