生命的色彩 / The Color of Life「3」
2012 Fine Work Award
CHEN, KUAN-JUNG / Taiwan
Why I Took These Pictures:
I have always been fond of the seasonal changes in nature, such as maple leaves turning red and falling in autumn, signaling the passing of a year and embodying the cycle of life. Recording time through such images, and freeze-framing beautiful moments from each season and every existence is what photography is all about. From birth and youth to the prime of life and, eventually, old age, we experience different emotions, and each phase of life holds beauty and value. Through different palettes, I attempted to show the meaning of life.
Winner’s Speech:Winner’s Speech:
All images are natural and real to me, and every scene, be it beautiful or ugly, deserves to be preserved for the afterworld. Through photography, I can show the world what I’ve seen and experienced.
