In the rough nights (Rauhnächte) around New Year,
the “wild hunt” often rides through the dreams of sleeping people
and tries to turn them into nightmares.
Sufficient of exercise and tea help to counteract this.
I won't even try to describe the many traditions to drive away evil spirits during this time,
One of them is to try fireworks on New Year's Eve,
but I don't think D. Trump , E. Musk,Xi Jinping, and Putin will be impressed - but possible is everything.
