611 cruises through the Virginia countryside just east of Swoope, VA on the second run of the afternoon. A local railfan from New Jersey threw a hissy fit when I flew my drone 40' up in the middle of the field for this angle. He told me that "I needed to fly it higher so it wouldn't mess up his video sound"
Needless to say I (and the FAA) didn't agree with him). I guess he forgot that the steam train would totally drown out any other sounds as it passed.
