NS NV01 crosses the former Virginian Railway/Belt Line bridge over the eastern branch of the Elizabeth River. The train shuttles large cuts of containers between Portlock Yard and NIT. The bridge, originally a double track structure was re-built as a single track span. It carries NS traffic as well as Buckingham Branch trains off their Little Creek line.
