1991 Citroën CX TGI Break automatic

One of the last CXs: Citroën CX TGI Break automatic

The production of the CX stopped in 1989 (does anybody know when exactly?), because the XM was announced on the 23rd May 1989. As the XM Break only appeared in July 1991, the production of the CX Break was continued until 1991. (It was common for different Citroën models that the Break was produced some more years after the production of the Berline had been stopped.)

The book "La Citroën CX de mon père" says:

In 1990, the CX Breaks petrol and diesel (I guess that means all the Breaks) were called CX EVASION.

In the model year 1991 (01. July 1990 – 30th June 1991), there were:

– Break Évasion Essence (petrol)

– Break Évasion Diesel

– Break Évasion Turbo Diesel

– Familiale Évasion Diesel

– Familiale Évasion Entreprise Diesel

1990: 2081 Évasions

1991: 563 Évasions

In Switzerland, the "EVASION"-logo never existed. I think that the last CX Breaks were CX TGI here. I have some price lists from these years, I'll add them here in the comments when scanned and uploaded.
