OFI Tygrys wz. 106
7.62x28mm personal defence weapon.
An extension of the Skorpion vz. 61, developed by Osa Firearm Industries, and intended for use by the Polish Federal Military.
The proprietary 7.62x28mm round that the weapon is chambered in is powerful enough to breach both kevlar and anti-spalling shielding. It achieves this by modifing the aerodynamics and shape of the round to promote piercing. However, this comes at the expense of reduced stopping power against soft targets.
It superseded the aforementioned Skorpion vz. 61 then in service by the military. As of now, it supplements the Tantal wz. 88 in terms of standard issue weaponry.
Features include a twenty-five round magazine, top folding stock, adjustable sights, side vents, and a push safety.
