Roaring Through Ruffin
A classic CN SD60 leads NS 18M through the rural community of Ruffin, NC on a gorgeous summer evening. A friend and I made the nearly 80 mile trek to this spot as the train was taking its time picking up at Dundee Yard in Danville, as well as picking up the SD70M third out to make up for the GEVO that had conked out in order to make the grade out of the Dan River valley. This beautiful farmland and a great sunset are just two of God's blessings that make this hobby such a joy.
