Panorama of El Teide Volcano, Tenerife

El Teide (rhymes with lady) National Park in Tenerife is the central part of that beautiful island. Measured from the top of the current active volcano, to its undersea base it is the third largest volcanic Complex in the world, after Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea in the Hawaiian Islands. You are normally above the local cloud cover up there and it is a fantastic geological site.
