Flaming Sky - Sunset Over Dysart Sea Beams
Tonight's sunset was spectacular. This is more or less straight out of camera, because the slightest attempt at editing blew the colours into the realms of unreality. The combination of cloud shapes and colour made it the best sunset I've seen for quite a few years. I like the way the flaming clouds seemed to be emanating from the top of the 30 feet high Dysart Sea Beams as if they were giant candles.Thanks to my clever wife Mags for spotting the potential in the sky. Usually if you even 15 minutes too late in spotting the start of these natural light-shows the magic has gone.
