Dog Walking on Pettycur Sands

Pettycur-Burntisland sandflats are a great Fife walking location, at mid to low tide, as the waters go out for quite a way and stay out for hours. As long as you have waterproof foot-wear you are laughing (although the many dogs don't seem to worry about getting their feet wet)?
