Crouching Ringtailed Lemur - Tribute to Martial Mike :0)
Grandson Jack has returned home, but this morning Mags and I will meet up with Flickr friend Martial MIke (Mike Sorocynski) and his wife Sue who are briefly in Kinross on a flying visit from Basutoland. Like all lemurs this Ringtailed Lemur (Lemur catta) is from the island of Madagascar (and not from Lesotho where Mike and Sue live, which of course is on the other side of Africa). I'm afraid it is the best I can come up with wildlife to greet Mike. For those of you who are lucky enough to see Martial MIke's great photos of African wildlife and his family, the lemur does look a bit like Mike. :0)
STOP PRESS. Mags and I got on great with Mike and Sue and then with a slip of the brain, I managed to delete all four photos when transferring from camera to P.C. Gone and unrecoverable because they hadn't yet reached the P.C. I've never ever done that before. Doh! :0((
