Watching Beach Cricket at Elie
Today at Elie in Fife, Mags and I went to walk on the beautiful Elie Main Beach and then watched beach cricket. It was pleasant to sit in the beer garden across the road from the Ship Inn and watch this most quintessentially English sport, in brilliant sunshine. O.K. this was Scotland and not England, but who cares! The Ship Inn XI seemed to be doing well against the Caledonian Breweries XI in the game and were at 142-7 when we left. The young lad came and sat on the wall in front of us and so I thought made it a nice composition. I hope you are all having a nice weekend?
