Panorama of the Mt Teide Caldera
BEST VIEWED LARGE. I am just blown away by the free Microsoft stitching program called ICE. This is five overlapping shots giving about a 15 degree arc of the vast caldera of the Mount Teide Volcanic Complex (still an active volcano). It took less than 5 minutes to convert 5 raw files to JPEGs, drop the JPEGS as a batch into the ICE panel, after which the program instantaneously stitched the five together without any fiddling about from myself. A minor crop to remove a tiny amount of vignetting, the removal of dust spots in Photoshop Elements and there it was. Voila a nice panorama. I am looking forward to taking many more panoramic shots and using this simple FREE program. Lord that word 'free' really appeals to those of us of Scots blood! :0))))
