Of Course it Never Snows by the Seaside

Everyone knows that it rarely snows by the seaside, or does it? When we moved here about 5 years ago our next-door neighbours had talked of only 7 or 8 heavyish snowfalls here the past 35 years. At Lower Dysart, we normally miss the snow when the rest of Scotland is suffering. Well last year we had three memorable snowfalls and this year we have had heavy snow in November, the earliest onset of snow for over twenty years. You may not like the words Global Warming, but welcome to climate instability, something we will have to get used to as our seas warm up and ice-caps melt. Snow in Los Angeles? Heat-waves in Siberia? Certainly sir.
