I found this shot in my archives and treated it in soft focus as I thought it suited the beautiful light.
The photo of a sculler on the River Arno passing under the Ponte Santa Trinita reminded me of our dear friends in Florence whom Mags and I got to know through Flickr. Some like cignale, cristianella, Davide and Laura we were lucky enough to meet on our last trip. Other friends like Ugo and firencesca we hope to meet on our next trip. Hello to our dear friends.

The Canottieri 'Firenze' Rowing Club was founded in 1911 and is located on the right bank of the River Arno. Their boats are berthed in the old stables of The Medici Family, underneath the Uffizi Gallery. Just how cool is that!
