Beach Huts at Elie
After yesterday’s 9 mile hike along the Fife Coastal Path from The Forth Rail Bridge to Aberdour, I ended up will a slightly sore calf muscle, so our plan to walk todays Coastal Path section from Pittenweem to Crail was abandoned. Instead we went to Crail where we had a coffee at our favourite Crail Harbour Gallery and Tearoom (one that Larry211, that devotee of tea and scones may not have sniffed-out yet?) Then I climbed the rocks on the beach looking at some fascinating geology, whilst Mags sensibly stayed on the sand (in places the rocks are steeply bedded and slippery with seaweed). Then we went on to Elie’s beautiful Main Beach, where Kirkcaldy Photographic Society had visited earlier in the year. (we visit Loch Leven and castle next Sunday when visitors are welcome to join us). www.kirkcaldyphotographicsociety.co.uk
