Skye Trip - Sheep at Loch Eynort
The Isle of Skye must be similar to New Zealand with respect to the high number of sheep per head of population. Loch Eynort is a quiet and remote sea-loch, with only a few human inhabitants and lots of sheep and cattle.
Re questions, the cottage isn't ruined, but is used by fishermen I think, rather than being a permanent dwelling. The brown fringe to the loch is a sort of sea-weed found on the edge of sea-lochs in the western Scottish Highlands and Islands (see my Eilean Donan Castle photo for similar growths)!
