There be Faeries at the Fairy Glen on the Isle of Skye

Even a couple months after our magical Skye trip I keep finding more photos that I like. Glen Uig, the Fairy Glen, is the product of a geological landslip similar to the larger-scale one that produced the beautiful pinnacles of the Quiraing and the Old Man of Storr. There are around 250 little pointed fairy hills in the Fairy Glen. Towering above them is this mesa-like bluff, which deceives the eye as to its real magnitude as it is probably less than 100 feet high. A sheep-track passes up through the cleft which leads you to the top.
