Skye Trip - Not a Great Day for Hill-Walking in the Storr
This photo is dedicated to my Flickr friends Anne Strickland and John Dera, both of whom have inspired me with superb Isle of Skye photos.
We got many types of weather conditions on our week on the Isle of Skye (most usually good weather). The weather was mainly dry with occasional warm sunny days, a few light rain showers and surprisingly, on only one day, misty hill-conditions (and not much evidence of the dreaded midgies). I remembered the beautiful misty shots that Anne Strickland took on her bad weather time on Skye and hoped to emulate her. This shot taken of the pinnacles of the mystical area of Trotternish called The Storr, was one result I liked, even though it was taken out of a moving car.
