Skye Trip - Cows on the Beach at Elgol
The winding, climbing, road from Broadford to Elgol is one of the most scenic roads in Scotland, as it it passes so near to the Red Cuillins that you feel you could almost reach out and touch the conical mountains. The view of the beach at Elgol is also nice and offers good photo-opportunities too. After this you can take The Bella Jayne or one of the other boats out to beautiful Loch Coruisk and you are in the heart of the Black Cuillins. This is a sort of sensory overload day! If you've never made that trip, then do it! It was the Fortieth Wedding Anniversary of Mags and I that week and we found some great places in Scotland to celebrate our time together!.
