Looking at the Seals on Kinshaldy Beach
Kinshaldy is one of Fife's many wonderful (and ginormous) beaches and has the added attraction of hosting 150-200 beautiful seals (the dark line two thirds of the way down in this photo is wall-to-wall seals). To reach it, you have to drive for a couple of miles through the Leuchars countryside, then park-up and walk along the golden sands for another couple of miles to reach the seals.Gentoo has reminded me that even further down the beach, even beyond the seals you can occasionally find a small colony of nude-bathers (However, April is too early in the year for Homo nudiformensis as they might risk hypothermia or frost-bite without their winter pelts).
