A snake in the grass!

This Western Diamond-backed Rattlesnake is lying in ambush. Waiting for just the right oppurtunity to take down a meal.

He was spotted after a couple hiking the area walked right past him without noticing he was sitting there.

It's amazing how they go undetected.
