The Tower of London at Moonrise

What on earth does the Tower of London have to do with the Pembrokeshire coast I hear you ask.

Well, there's a few links that relate to charges of high treason for some Pembrokeshire nobility back in the 16th Century.

By far my favourite link refers to the ravens that live around the tower.

Apparently, there was a large decline of Ravens around the tower in the 1920s, so a request was sent by the Crown for young Ravens to be collected from the South Pembrokeshire Coast and delivered to the Tower of London to replenish the numbers.

It's said that the Ravens that live around the tower today are direct descendants of those Pembrokeshire Ravens.
