We don't explore Mammoth Hot Springs at Yellowstone as much as we should. It's nice to find how things have changed. In this case, water has shifted and now covers a road and vehicle traffic is no longer allowed. Heat-loving bacterial mats provide color to the otherwise drab travertine deposits left by the hot springs.
