Kettle Pond Winter

I love it when landscapes just split the scene. It is also fun to make overcast and frozen water work well. The snow on the pond certainly helped.

 

Found off of 232 coming from Montpellier is Groton State Park. Kettle Pond can be hiked, kayaked, and snowshoed....not all at the same time.

 

The best place to see the pond is from Owl Head Overlook where the pond becomes a piece of the landscape surrounded by the Green Mountains.
