Old Russian paint weathers to a muted watercolor appearance, as apparent in this straight photo of the blue window surrounds. One of the window surrounds is about to fall. The log house itself is slowly falling down.
PS, 30 Aug 2010: Alas, the house was demolished in Aug 2010. Judging from blue pieces of wood in the debris, the blue window surrounds may not have been salvaged. Lost to posterity.
