There is a tripod recommended while using the lens with such a long focal lenght. Focus has to be set manually.

If you want to extend the power of this lens you can buy and additional Samyang teleconverter x2 and get great focal lenght 1300-2600 mm! Please note that when using APS-C cameras focal lenght has to be multiplied by 1,5. This means that you will get: 975-1950 mm (and 1950-3900 mm with Samyang x2 teleconverter)!
