Letterman - The Power of Words

Funny portrait with Letterman, a new superhero. He symbolizes the power of the words.

The text is coming from the book "La condition humaine" from André Malraux (published in 1933), a French famous writer.

Photoshop process :

1 / Find a head and cut it from the background.

2 / Make a background in a layer filled with balck color (alt+delete).

3 / Create a 3rd layer with the text tool. Select the text you want and repeat it in order to have the layer full of words. Adjust with the dedicated tool the size and the space of the letters and so on until you find the effect you want.

4 / put the layer of the head just above the layer with the text. Then right click on the layer with the head and choose "clipping mask" (masque d'écrétage in French).

5 / Then you can adjust again the size of the letters etc. I choose to preserve the sun glasses.

I forgot to mention I did some frequency separation on the head at the beginning.
