Left and Right

It's been quite frustrating how little wildlife there's been at the pond this winter. (And then there's the issue of getting out there at all, which is another story.) So I was very happy to see two pairs of hoodies (hooded mergansers). Two drakes are shown here on a day with a few flakes falling. Siskiyou County, California
