Toeing the line

Part of the covered area in front of the Scottish Parliament building in Edinburgh. To the untrained eye the building looks like all the bits left over from other rejected ideas. Odd corners look quite inventive and pleasing, but the whole does nothing for me. Like these lines against the sky though.
