Common Malachite - Malachius bipustulatus (1)

Common Malachite - Malachius bipustulatus is easy to be recognised by the large red spot at the end of each wing-case. The adult is predator and is found mainly on vegetation in April to July.

 

This one is found in RSPB Langford Lowfields nature reserve.
