Moonlit Cregennen (explored 27/3/16 #12)
First upload from yesterdays trip to Cregennen Lakes in Wales. This is an 8 shot vertical panorama. All the light is provided by a very bright almost full moon that was directly behind me, hence, you can still see the stars.
The weather forecast had looked perfect for a sunrise at one of my favourite locations, so Geoff Moore and I made the two and a half hour trip. When we got there everything was looking good, but, as can happen with landscape photography, a bank of cloud rolled in at the wrong time and the sunrise did not happen.
I returned home somewhat frustrated, Geoff, the optimistic one, was far more positive about what we might have got. It just shows you never can tell until you get it on the screen as I have a number of shots that i am quite pleased with.
Sorry Geoff for being so grumpy on the way back.
