Another Brick in the Wall

I couldn't resist taking this shot,in isolation to me the image looks mysterious and full of intrigue. The image begs so many questions,the black door,what is behind it ?the staircase,where does it lead ? The archway blocked up ? The structure is actually below the Royal York Crescent,a well known landmark in Clifton,Bristol.
The title " Another Brick in the Wall " is a well known Pink Floyd record released in 1979 part of their rock opera, some of you may remember it.
