Puma Hidden Wedge Sneakers
Another recent "treat" I got myself. A pair of women's us 7 1/2 EU 38 Puma Hidden Wedge sneakers.
The wedge is about three inches tall. Now I've worn boots with fairly tall heels, particularly years ago, and my clogs have raised heels (until the wood wears away), but I don't recall wearing anything with this high a heel before. It did take a few hours before my toes got used to being bent so much, but I now wear them all day.
So far, no one seems to have noticed the wedges (they are really well hidden in the Pumas) or my new additional height, or how short my pants got. I've actually worn them all day all over town several days, and not even gotten a strange look, although I'd assume that women who wear wedge sneakers would recognize the style.
But, you know, I don't really care what people think, I like the extra height. I'm on the short side, so now I'm a little closer to average. And I can see that I need to clean the dust off the top of the refrigerator without a step stool...
These are "designer" sneakers, on the innersoles and straps they say : Puma by Miharayasuhiro.
Even though they are women's 7 1/2 they aren't really at all tight. I'm surprised that they are plenty wide despite being a women's shoe, and while my toes bump the front, they aren't doubled up and my heels are loose unless I tie them tight. I didn't even have to think about taking the innersoles out.
These are neat sneakers.
