Welcome to Lisa Durden’s #BlackHistoryMonthMoment: Maxie Cleveland "Max" Robinson, Jr., born May 1, 1939 in Richmond, Virginia, was an American broadcast journalist and ABC News World News Tonight co-anchor. He was the first African-American broadcast network news anchor in the United States. He was also a founder of the National Association of Black Journalists. #MaxRobinson passed away in December 20, 1988. As a little girl, I was in love with this man because he was fine and smart! #ClapForThat!!
