Siberian Goshawk
This is a Siberian Goshawk, a friend of mine not only breeds these birds but hunts with them also, i was invited on this day to a private site for its hunting. a few posing shots first before the walk began, this bird works with a dog, dog flushes the prey out, Goshawk catches. This day we walked along the field the dog points, then flushes the phesant out, i hadn't even lifted the camera and the hawk had hit it, 5 sec max. unfortunately the bird also landed in the small pond. Bird and prey retrieved, bird gets its reward. looking forward to 2017 hunting and training of the new birds.
