Willow Tree Fen BlueThroat
Willow Tree Fen Bluethroat. This little beauty has found its way on the UK shores, well the Fens,
Locals saying its been around now for the last couple of weeks, but once reports had gotten out the place has teemed with photographers and birders alike.
Struck it lucky on my visit, at first possibly only 25 people at the site, once the bird had showed, the count at least halved, this little beauty was showing at first every 1/2 hour feeding on the meal worm gifted by the watchers.
The weather forecast had kept people away, at one stage the only group their was 6 of us all friends, this made just laying on the ground moving freely for another angle easy and at times the bird almost coming into our lens as we laid still and quiet.
This bird a first for me, so the shutter button for me was very active, the end result once images had been viewed was a pleasing sight and I hope you all enjoy my images.
