Lynford and the search for two gems, firstly the mighty Hawfinch, i knew they could be distance and little chance of a close encounter but does that stop us all in our quest? Crossbills was our next target knowing a pair was sighted regular at the area, plus good info we waited and waited and waited just a little bit longer, light was going we had seen a few of the Hawfinches come into the paddock to roost, then he appeared with this band of the last light shining on him, just a couple of clicks and he was off as brief as that. but he was at distance but pleased at my efforts.
